Navarre named Talalay Global chief executive officer

Talalay Global, the Shelton, Connecticut-based latex supplier and maker of the Pure Talalay Bliss bedding brand, has named Marc Navarre chief executive officer.

Navarre replaces Dave Fisher, who has left the company. Fisher had been CEO since 2010.

A 30-year veteran of the housewares, electronics and consumer products industries, Navarre most recently was CEO of Focus Products Group International. As president and CEO of Groupe SEB North America, he oversaw the company’s extensive brand portfolio, including All-Clad, T-Fal, WearEver, Krups, Mirro, Imusa and Rowenta.

Lynn Clarke, chair of Talalay Global, said: “Now is the ideal timing for a transition to new leadership. The business turnaround is completed. The company has seen strong revenue and profit growth. The entire board is confident the new leadership will deliver exceptional customer focus and growth to meet strategic objectives.”

Commenting on his new position, Navarre said, “I’m pleased to be joining Talalay Global to lead its growth strategy to meet the needs of its customers and partners.”
