Scott Charest has joined Gastonia, North Carolina-based Creative sales team, and will be representing their mattress fabric collection and textile technologies to the industry.
“We are extremely excited to welcome Scott to the team,” said Parker Sytz, director of business development. “He has a vast knowledge of the market, and we believe he will be a great asset to Creative. With his addition, we believe we are well positioned for continued growth.”
Scott operated his own manufacturing company for 21 years. He is an accountant by education but a sales representative by choice. He started in the mattress industry 10 years ago with DesleeClama, a mattress fabric company; afterward, he started his own business, CJN Sales Associates, and contracted for six years with CT Nassau. Scott has learned all the facets of the business, from bed design to manufacturing. He also represents foam, latex, FR and springs.
“I am excited to join the Creative team, including colleagues from the past, and to spearhead my rep business with quality mattress fabric,” Scott said. “I understand how fabric makes the mattress visually marketable and works with the other mattress components for comfort and efficient manufacturing.”
